Cyclists wearing red in front of gates

Join us this World AIDS Day and take on a Ribbon Ride! Set yourself a cycling challenge ahead of Tuesday 1 December and raise vital funds to support people living with HIV. Ride solo or as a team, in the great outdoors or on your spinning bike.

Whether you decide to do a daily challenge, a target distance you’re hoping to reach or simply getting out for a cycle on the day - the challenge is up to you.

How it works

  • Let us know you’re taking on Ribbon Ride – we'll get in touch with everything you need.
  • Set up your JustGiving online fundraising page and set yourself a target – we suggest £250 (or more!). When you reach this we’ll send you out your very own Terrence Higgins Trust cycling jersey.
  • Take on your challenge! Wear your red ribbon on your cycle, ride in a ribbon-shaped route or don fancy dress. We can also send you out a personalised Text-to-Donate code to add to your cycling outfit to get those donations rolling in while you’re pedalling the pavements (virtually or in reality!).
  • Let your friends, family and colleagues know you’re taking part and ask them to sponsor you, or even better ask if they want to join you.

We’d love to see pictures of you on the day so please tag @THTorguk on Twitter and Instagram and use the hashtag #RibbonRide.

PPCC Ride the Ribbon

The Porn Pedaller’s Cycling Club, dedicated supporters of our charity, will be hosting their 2nd annual World AIDS Day Ride the Ribbon this December! They'll ride socially distanced around central London to raise vital funds towards our work. And you’re all invited!

The ride will start in Victoria Park and follow a ribbon-shaped route to historical and meaningful spots around London. Fancy dress is more than welcome, as is any level of cycling ability. With new restrictions now in place until Wednesday 2 December, the ride has been postponed with the date TBC.

If you’re interested in joining PPCC to support our work, please email [email protected].
