Thinking about leaving a gift in your will?

If you’re considering adding a gift to your will, thank you. Gifts in wills currently fund a significant part of our work.

Since the 1980s – with regards to our knowledge of HIV and treatment for people with HIV – everything has changed. But in many other ways, nothing has changed.

We are in fact still living with an HIV epidemic. Every day, another 17 people are diagnosed with HIV in the UK. Every year, 6,000 people are diagnosed with HIV in this country alone.

What’s more, over 400 people still die of it each year, mostly because they tested too late. And those of us living with HIV know that the stigma and discrimination hasn’t gone away.

A gift in your will can help us to:

  • put a stop to stigma and discrimination which destroys lives every day
  • empower people to live well with HIV, and amplify the voices of people living with and affected by HIV
  • stop HIV in its tracks by ending HIV transmission and improving sexual health.

Our promise to you:

  • Your family and friends are important. We understand they come first, and will treat you all with sensitivity and respect.
  • We will keep any information you share with us confidential and won’t pass it on to other organisations.
  • We value all the gifts that are left to us. Nothing is too big or too small – your gift will help us change lives.
  • If you're happy for us to, we will keep you updated about our work in the way that you request.
  • We will use your gift efficiently and effectively, funding projects and services that support and empower people at risk of and living with HIV.
  • You have the right to change your mind at any time.
