If you’re considering adding a gift to your will, thank you. Gifts in wills currently fund a significant part of our work.
Since the 1980s – with regards to our knowledge of HIV and treatment for people with HIV – everything has changed. But in many other ways, nothing has changed.
We are in fact still living with an HIV epidemic. Every day, another 17 people are diagnosed with HIV in the UK. Every year, 6,000 people are diagnosed with HIV in this country alone.
What’s more, over 400 people still die of it each year, mostly because they tested too late. And those of us living with HIV know that the stigma and discrimination hasn’t gone away.
