THT and me.
Name: Camilla Smith
Role: Young Leaders Participation Officer (London Region)
What does that mean?: I run the London region of a national peer-led, grant-giving, sex and relationships education project called Young Leaders. We give young people the chance to decide how best to educate themselves and their peers about HIV, sexual health and relationships. I ensure participation in the project across London and generally have a fantastic time doing it!
Why THT?: Working for THT allows me to do a job I feel passionate about and there’s nothing better than loving your job. I also volunteer on the helpline where I continually learn and challenge my own views and knowledge. It’s incredibly rewarding working amongst such ambitious and dedicated colleagues who both learn from and motivate one another.
