Our number is free to call from all UK landlines and most UK mobiles and will not appear on your telephone bill. Some calls may be listened into or recorded for training purposes.
What happens when I call?
When you ring you’ll hear a menu system. This will give you options to:
- listen to recorded information
- leave a message to be called back in another language
- hold the line if you’d like to speak an adviser.
If you're calling from a call box or from your mobile we can always call you straight back if you don’t have much money. Our number won't appear on any itemised bill.
How we work
If your enquiry is complicated then one of our advisers might call you back when they have researched how we can help, or we might refer you to someone else in the organisation. We’ll tell you when we are going to call you back and check whether we can say who we are when we call.
As well as providing help over the phone we can also send out information (in a plain envelope) for you to read at home.
