By taking on a physical challenge this World AIDS Day (Friday 1 December) you can help us in our mission to end new cases of HIV in the UK by 2030.

Taking part is simple:

  • Set up a JustGiving page with a £100 target and ask friends and family to donate.
  • Walk, run, swim or hop 20.30 miles or km on or around World AIDS Day – find your own way to cover the distance!
  • Once you’ve signed up below, our friendly fundraising team will support you every step of the way.

Everyone who registers for the 20.30 Challenge will receive a free Terrence Higgins Trust T-shirt!

What distance do I have to do?

You can complete the 20.30 Challenge in miles, or kilometres, or even set a target of 20.30 minutes, or hours if you prefer. It’s your choice! You could even start your challenge at 8.30pm (20.30).

Do I have to complete the full distance in one go?

No. You can complete the distance all in one go, or over a time period that suits you.

Is there a timeframe I need to complete my challenge in?

No. You can decide when you take on your challenge and how long it needs to be completed in.

How should I complete the distance?

It’s completely up to you! You can run, walk, cycle, swim, dance or hop, or anything else you like.
