Philip: 'After I was diagnosed with HIV, my life really changed. I became aMayor.'

We host a series of online events to support people living with HIV.

Our meetings use Zoom, video conferencing software that you can use by phone, tablet or computer to access online meetings for free.

If you've been living with HIV for some time, you may wish to learn about our long-term diagnosed group Before 96, which meets monthly.

If you're looking for support around employment, searching for work or volunteer opportunities or building skills and confidence, please check out our work and skills offer.

Alternatively, you can watch some of our webinars on COVID-19 and HIV on demand.

Please use the registration links below to sign up for any living well session in advance. For events that don't have registration links yet, please save the date and check back nearer the time. To subscribe to our events mailing list for future events, please fill in the form at the bottom of the page.

The dates of our next sessions are:

  • Thursday 18 November
  • Thursday 25 November
  • Thursday 2 December

Peer support group for women (including trans women) living with HIV

This group is an inclusive, safe and respectful online space for friendship and fun for people living with HIV who identify as female.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.

The group offers a space to increase our social connectedness and enable learning from each other, to check in and talk about how we are.

Each month we also have a 10-minute ‘show and tell’ from one of our members to share what supports their wellbeing. The first session in October included a demonstration of tai chi, which got us moving and relaxing, and even creating freestyle dances!

In the final part of the evening, we use breakout rooms to chat in smaller groups.

Our group is full of excitement, building a community for fellowship and also joy from being together in a free and safe space. Please do register and join us whenever you can, and contact [email protected] if you have any questions or need further information.
