Full Prize Draw Terms and Conditions: 

  1. By entering the prize draw and thus participating, acceptance of these rules is implied and it will be assumed entrants have read and understood all terms and conditions. 

  1. Terrence Higgins Trust is responsible for running the prize draw and is responsible for providing the prizes. Terrence Higgins Trust’s registered address is: 437 & 439 Caledonian Road, London, N7 9BG. 

Eligibility to enter 

  1. The prize draw is free to enter 

  1. Participants in this draw must be 18 or over.  

  1. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. This can be one paper entry or one online entry only.  

  1. There is no obligation to enclose a donation to Terrence Higgins Trust to be eligible to win in the Birthday Prize Draw.  

  1. All recipients, in their name only, are eligible to win, except employees of Terrence Higgins Trust and their families, agencies or other companies having any connection with the production of the draw.  

How to enter 

  1. Entry Birthday Prize Draw can be either by paper entry form or via an online entry form found at: [URL] 

  1. All entries (both paper and online) must be received by 11:59pm on 3rd July 2025 

  1. Existing supporters who have opted in to receiving post shall receive a paper entry form in the post  

  1. Any supporters (including existing supporters) can enter via the online entry form  

  1. Paper entry forms or online registration forms returned or submitted before 20th June 2025 will also be entered into our Fast Reply Bonus Draw.  

  1. Terrence Higgins Trust will accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, or inaccurate entries. 

The Prize 

  1. The Birthday Prize Draw winners will be selected at random, from all the valid entries, by a randomised computer process on the 10th July 2025 

  1. The First Prize is a £1,000 cash or a holiday to the value of £1,000. The supporter who wins the First Prize and chooses to donate with their entry can take their prize as £1,000 cash. The Second Prize is £250 cash. There are three Third Prizes of £80 cash – with £80 cash each, for three winners. 

  1. The Birthday Fast Reply Bonus Draw winners will be selected by a randomised computer process on the 10th July 2025 – there are 12 x £25 cash prizes to be won. 

  1. The prize(s) are non-exchangeable and non-transferrable 

  1. Cash prize payments will be made by BACS transfer. 

  1. The winner must provide valid (not expired) photo ID before the prize is awarded.  

  1. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. 

  1. The decision of Terrence Higgins Trust about any aspect of the prize draw if final and biding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.  

The Winner Announcement 

  1. The winners will be notified after the draw on 3rd July 2025 via email.  

  1. Terrence Higgins Trust will attempt to contact the winner twice by email.  

  1. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, by 24th July 2024, of the first email, they will lose the right to the prize, and Terrence Higgins Trust reserves the right to choose and notify another winner, who will have 14 days to claim the prize. 

  1. If no second winner claims the prize, it shall be retained by Terrence Higgins Trust.  

  1. Details of the winners and prizes awarded will be available at [URL], 30 days after the draw by 2nd August 2025.  

  1. Terrence Higgins Trust reserves the right to publish the name(s) of winner(s) in an abbreviated form of initial and surname i.e. D Smith, city, town, or county location i.e. Brighton, your winning entry number, and a photograph (if provided), on our website, and in any future mailings or promotional materials.  

Governance 

  1. Terrence Higgins Trust reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. 

  1. Insofar as is permitted by law, Terrence Higgins Trust, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Terrence Higgins Trust, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

Governing law 

  1. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. 

  1. Terrence Higgins Trust reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
