We're temporarily running our testing service as a monthly pop-up clinic – contact us for details. We no longer run a clinic at the Citizens Advice Centre.

Our monthly rapid HIV testing clinic is available to attend by booking an appointment. To find out the next date that this clinic will take place, please contact us. Details about your appointment and what to expect when you attend will be provided at the point of booking.

To find out more or to book an appointment, contact us by calling 0300 373 3421 or email us using the ‘get in touch’ option below.

Order a free HIV self test kit

We're offering free HIV self test kits to people within Essex and Thurrock from groups most affected by HIV.

We normally charge £15 for the tests. Providing you live in the qualifying area, under the local authority of Essex county council or Thurrock council, you won't be asked for payment at checkout.

If you aren't eligible for a test from this service, you can search for other free online HIV testing options.

Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

We're able to offer chlamydia and gonorrhoea postal tests to people that book and attend our clinics. Your results will be available in two weeks.

Sexual health information and advice

We offer sexual health information on safer sex and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Further information

We offer free condoms and lube for walk-in users, as well as via outreach at events in the local community.
