This World AIDS Day we’re saying HIV: time's up!

From Tuesday 28 November to Tuesday 5 December, every donation you make will be automatically doubled, doubling your impact for those living with HIV and moving us one step closer to ending new HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030. 

Your contributions will help us continue vital services, from counselling to self-testing programmes, and work towards ending the stigma and discrimination faced by those living with HIV.

We've been supporting people with HIV for more than four decades. We provide advice, counselling, group support and crucially tackle the stigma experienced by so many people living with HIV.

This World AIDS Day, we'll remember all those we have lost to this epidemic. We'll honour their memory by ensuring that not only is Terrence Higgins Trust here until the last person living with HIV needs us, but that together we end new cases of HIV in the UK by 2030.

We know what urgently needs to happen to make this goal a reality. It means campaigning to expand the success of ‘opt-out’ HIV testing in A&E departments across the country. It means unblocking access to the HIV prevention drug PrEP, and ensuring sexual and reproductive health is a national priority. It means ending the stigma and discrimination still surrounding HIV. This way we can find and test everyone living with HIV, and ensure they are on medication and unable to pass on the virus.

Without you this will not be possible. We need your help to end this epidemic. With you we can make history, and we can be the first country in the world to achieve this goal. We owe this to everyone who has come before us – those who were taken too early and those who fought tirelessly to raise awareness of HIV and end discrimination.
