The Proud Scotland Awards has awarded us their Charity or Community Group Initiative Award in a ceremony held in Glasgow.

We won the award in recognition of our work with LGBT+ communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, how we adapted to make sure people were still able to access sexual health services during lockdowns.

The Proud Scotland Awards celebrates the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations who work with LGBT+ people across Scotland.

We supported the LGBT+ community during lockdown in a range of ways, including posting over 1250,000 condom packs to gay and bisexual men across Scotland and launching the GlasGow Get Tested campaign with Sandyford Sexual Health to increase HIV testing.

‘We’re very proud to win’ said Alan Eagleson, who oversees our work in Scotland. 'The past year has been challenging for the people who use our services, as well as for our volunteers and staff.

'We’re so proud of how we’ve adapted to new ways of working to be there for those who need us.'
